Good day.

I have this issue, where the battery drains fast (like 2 hours approx.) because the GTX 1060 is always active (when before it was inactive most of the time, and it lasted like 5-6 hours on battery). I don't know what changes i have to do to make that happen again.

Even so, there are times when the nVidia panel says "1 display, 0 applications", so I don't know why it is active.

I appreciate any help. Thanks in advance.

In nvidia control panel in 3d settings there is power management option. Set it to Adaptive.
Always post the following characterisitcs of the device:
    -Model number
    -Part number(not required, but helpful)
    -CPU
    -GPU
    -Operating system

Helios 300 and Nitro 5 users DO NOT update the BIOS to version 1.22 if you don't want the keyboard's backlight to turn off after 30 seconds even when the device is plugged in.

Are you connecting to an external display, if so that is normal you need to disconnect to stop using the Nvidia exclusively. Another thing you can do is go into your Nvidia control panel, go to 'Manage 3d settings' and make sure "Auto-Select" is chosen in the drop down box under "Preferred graphics processor" and see if that helps.

Thanks to both of you. I tried both, and it works properly now, back to 7 hours of battery power!
