I had my laptop working fine last night but it died while I was asleep and in the most it wouldn't turn on after I charged it. When I plug it in the charging light won't turn on and neither will the laptop. Please help I need it for homework asap

You have to check if the laptop's charger is working, by checking if there is any voltage at the charger's plug. Reset battery. Here is how: https://us.answers.acer.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/34843/~/acer-internal-battery-reset.
Always post the following characterisitcs of the device:
    -Model number
    -Part number(not required, but helpful)
    -CPU
    -GPU
    -Operating system

Helios 300 and Nitro 5 users DO NOT update the BIOS to version 1.22 if you don't want the keyboard's backlight to turn off after 30 seconds even when the device is plugged in.

I've reset the battery and still nothing. My charger is working. I've tried two other chargers with it and it's still not turning on. A friend of mine took it for the weekend and he told me the motherboard is getting power so it's not my battery. I have no clue what to do now but I really need a computer for school.

Most likely a motherboard fault. If you want to fix it, you should contact a technician. If you have warranty left you should contact Acer.
