The only fix I know is to uninstall just dolby audio and install EqualizerAPO. I have tried it personally and it works. Enhances the sound just like dolby(maybe a little less but at least it is constantly on, unlike dolby)
Always post the following characterisitcs of the device:
    -Model number
    -Part number(not required, but helpful)
    -CPU
    -GPU
    -Operating system

Helios 300 and Nitro 5 users DO NOT update the BIOS to version 1.22 if you don't want the keyboard's backlight to turn off after 30 seconds even when the device is plugged in.

Most games disable Dolby due to the inbuilt audio engines if the game... PUBG does this for example.

Like @Red-Sand said that is pretty normal to happen i run fx enhancer and it boosts the sound like hell :) and although dolby audion says its off when u launch some games i myself didn't notice any changes in the sound and if i close it and open again it will be back saying it's on to me its just a frontend bug and it's still working in the background i really don't see any issue here
