Hello, I have some (a lot of) troubles with my acer aspire F 15 (8GB RAM, i7 7500U, GF 940MX, 1TB HDD). So firstly I've checked my temperature in laptop and while playing it is around 90'C, to be honest I'm quite scared about that. temp.jpgwow.jpg

First screen shows how it looks during a rest, second - during playing Last Man Standing. I'm not sure it's normal.

Secondly I noticed that I got a 10,5k warnings in "eventvwr.msc". Every warning is about my PCI-E connector.zdarzenie.jpg
(sorry it's in polish, but it means something like "An adjusted error of device has occurred")

You should look at average temperature not the maximum temperature as it could last for a fraction of a second only.

Still I think 83C might be a little high but not dangerous. You don't feel comfortable with this CPU temperature, so you can undervolt the CPU using XTU or Throttlestop. It will reduce the heat of the CPU by a little or a lot(you will see) without reducing the performance. Start by reducing the voltage with -100mV and then keep adding -5mV until your system stays stable. At some point it will crush, reboot and set the voltage to the last value the system stayed stable on. There are a lot of videos online showing how to undervolt using XTU(extreme tuning utility) and Throttlestop. Note that during undervolting you should run a game or a stress test in the background in order for your CPU to stay at max frequency.

About the warnings I am not very sure. They might stop appearing after you update the BIOS to latest version(if it is not updated already) and also reset battery(remove battery or stick a paperclip or equally thin object in the battery reset hole at the back. Leave the laptop for 5 minutes then plug the charger back in and power on). When updating the bios make sure the battery is at 100% and laptop connected to charger.
Always post the following characterisitcs of the device:
    -Model number
    -Part number(not required, but helpful)
    -CPU
    -GPU
    -Operating system

Helios 300 and Nitro 5 users DO NOT update the BIOS to version 1.22 if you don't want the keyboard's backlight to turn off after 30 seconds even when the device is plugged in.

So should I worry about it or it is not that dangerous?

I wouldn't worry about it but undervolting will even make the temperatures better and because of the lower temperatures it might even boost the performance a little bit(very little).
