Hi all,

When I open the screen to wake the computer from sleep mode, it comes up white and you can see all the little tiny boxes on the color grid. They look like little barcodes or the lines on a heart monitor.

Also if I try and move the mouse, it's just a box shape that magnifies the area on the screen where it sits or is moved over, if that makes sense.

I chatted with a support person and they said it's a hardware problem. I already updated Windows and did a restart. Also looked at installing the VGA driver but the one I got from the website here was older than the one I just updated with the Windows update. I thought about downloading the update to improve system performance from the BIOS/Firmware section, but there was a caution message, so I thought I should wait.

The support person I chatted with could not assist me and instead gave me a number to talk to someone in the hardware dept, I guess.

Any help or suggestions are greatly appreciated.
