A few days ago while playing games on the laptop while charging, suddenly the laptop completely shuts off. The led indicator was no longer showing that the laptop was charging although the charger was plugged in and the laptop could not be turned on. I tried using the pinhole on the bottom side of the laptop but it didn't work. I also tried unscrewing some screws and putting them back in which also didn't work. How do I fix this?

You have to measure the voltage at the charger's plug to see if it working. If it works then try with resetting the battery. Here is the proper procedure of how to do so: https://us.answers.acer.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/34843/~/acer-internal-battery-reset

If the charger is working and battery reset doesn't help, then most likely the motherboard is faulty. You should seek for a technician or contact Acer if you have warranty left.
Always post the following characterisitcs of the device:
    -Model number
    -Part number(not required, but helpful)
    -CPU
    -GPU
    -Operating system

Helios 300 and Nitro 5 users DO NOT update the BIOS to version 1.22 if you don't want the keyboard's backlight to turn off after 30 seconds even when the device is plugged in.

Yeah I am having the same issue. No signs of life (LED's aren't showing that I am charging) I am going to have to send it in for repairs. Did you perhaps hear a quiet tut sound before it shut off?
