I just got my new (refurbished) pc 2 days ago and today i encountered a problem where the entire pc would freeze the moment click something. After many reboots resulting in the same problem of freezing either during the first click or after about 2 mins of usage, i decided to do a complete reset since i didnt really have anything on the pc other than games from steam and origin along with very few school related things such as JGrasp.

Once i did the reset i had to reinstall windows 10 but got caught in an infinite loop of restarts. I read online about using windows media creation tool on a usb to boot and install windows. My new problem is that now it keeps getting frozen at around 10% - 25% of "getting files ready..."

Can anybody here help me with my solution? if not, am i better off just getting a refund from Newegg?

Freezing during install can be a ram issue or HDD/SSD, i stronlgy suggest you to contact newegg.

I should add that it was working perfectly for a day and i had games installed on both the ssd and hdd if that is of importance. The initial problem occured when i tried to open titan fall 2 and the game gave me an error which said something like "titan fall 2.exe has stopped working" and i tried to close it but the computer froze.

this doesn't change your desktop actual issues, i would contact newegg, just because is under warranty and had only 24hours of working time. Smiley Happy
