Just got this machine and have a few questions:

1.  If I want to look inside, does taking the cover off void the warranty?

2.  Is there an ACER utility to monitor CPU, GPU, etc. temperatures for gaming?

3.  Where is the SLEEP button on the keyboard?

4  Speaking of the keyboard, does the FN key doing anything besides adjust the backlight brightness?

5  The computer will not boot from DVD or USB -- I want to use SPINRITE to check and maintain the hard drive.  Tried adjusting boot order in BIOS but that did not make it happen.

6  Where can I get an 1 TB drive, identical to what's already in the system, for the "hot swap" slot?

Thanks!

    1. No
    2. if Preador sense is not pre-installed on your system, no there's no Acer software for that kind of monitoring, by the way there are a lot for free around the web, one is HWinfo: https://www.hwinfo.com/download.php
    3.  no such button, is not a laptop; by the way if you really need it, you can create one: https://www.tenforums.com/customization/42990-how-do-i-place-sleep-shortcut-windows-10-desktop.html
    4. Fn key will trigger any other function if available on your keyboard, just look if any symbol with the same color as brightness is available (normally you can raise and low the audio volume too)
    5.  bootable devices must be x64 (64 bit version) and have GPT partition scheme with FAT32 partition
    6. i think nearly every computer shop can sell it, just right click your C: drive on file explorer, choose properties, hardware and you will see the HDD brand and model.
    I'm not an Acer employee.
