Why E5-575G does not have a backlit keyboard?

Why you guys send lesser quality Acer products to Sri Lanka and India? But you guys send high quality products to the United States! I bought an Acer laptop called E5-575G but in many web sites I saw it has a backlit keyboard! But after buying it I realized that I was fooled! Very sad! The only reason I bought it was, I thought it has a backlit keyboard! I am so disappointed in your company! I still ACER brand very much tho!

Maybe over here in N.A., they figure our vision is not as good,  as on the other side of the big ocean so they provide backlighting on quite few of the configurations.

 

So are you going to return for a refund and find one of their configurations with a actual backlite keyboard ?       Or are you happy with dislike/like..... they are okay, they have your money  ! 

 

 

I like the specs and looks of the F5-573G-58XS (w/backlite keyb'd),  but with a defective (physical or algorithm/code) Batt' component in 4 diff. units,.... I like my money more in my wallet than Acer corp. !

You say you found some sites that stated a backlit keyboard?  Did you find some sites that said NO backlit keyboard?

As conveyed by dough'  in a quote,   specs can differ  btwn models within a series !

 

Here is a example within the f5-573g series;

Contrary to a 2017 build within the F5-573G series  (the Cdn 58xs variant) it does have a backlit keyb'd !

Also the 58xs model has a stock  250g SSD whereas the review model (2016 build date) has a HDD !

 

As consumers,  we have to look at the specs of the specific models available in our region to be well-enlightened before making a purchase.  ie, Cdn vs USoA mdoels are (usually) always different.

 

What we 'think' is unlikely to be what a manufacturer supplies !!
