Acer Aspire SW5-111 automaticly scrolls up

Hello,

I have noticed recently that my notebook won't allow me to scroll down pages. It is as though there is a magnet at the top of the screen that drags the scroll bar to the very top.

It's not just when I'm using the internet, it's also on the computer itself. When I went onto the control panel to see what I could do to fix this, every time I selected an option that was not the very first one, it would select the one I'd clicked then scroll up to the very first option as though I'd pressed and held the up key yet the key itself is fine. 

When trying to connect to wifi it's as though the down key is stuck and its just repeatedly scrolling through all the options. 

This happens when I use the mouse, keyboard, and touchscreen. But it does not happen when I take the screen off the keyboard and use it as a tablet.

Is it a problem with the keyboard? Or a virus? If it's neither, does anyone know how to fix this?

Hi,

Go to Device manager(right click start), expand Keyboards, highlight and right click Satandard PS2 keyboard, uninstall the driver, reboot and let Windows install the driver.HTH.
