N15Q9 - Problem with one not connecting to wifi

Today I had to have our wifi modem swapped out. Once AT&T did that, all other devices connected except this one. Tried everything I can find online but not making a difference. It keeps saying it's out of range. Strange part is that we have two chromebooks, bought at same time, same model, etc., the other connected fine. Rebooted, tried on 'owner' account, verified all info was correct, still won't connect. Help! I work from home so having no computer is a huge deal!

    Hi

I can suggest a few things, like command line possibilities, but you may already have them all...

Getting past the obvious it is not in Aeroplane mode, and it is capable of connecting...

    image

getmac   just to list the devices.

netsh interface ip show interface   yet again for a listing.

    ipconfig /release

    ipconfig /renew

    nbtstat -RR

netsh wlan show drivers | more /c

netsh wlan show interfaces | more /c

    ipconfig /flushdns

    ipconfig /registerdns

    netsh winsock reset catalog

netsh wlan show profiles  this shows any details about the WLAN

If you do the above for the problem machine, and if there are still problems then I suggest try both machines to find any difference.

    If in doubt please ask.
