Iconia One 7 (B1-770) - Some apps (games) running TOO fast?

Here's an odd issue: I won one of these tablets last Halloween in a game development contest (a "game jam" as they are known) and something that's bothered me are that a few of the Android games I own seem to run at 2x speed. So far, it's the following apps:

 

- Sonic the Hedgehog (not the new Sega Forever release, the wide screen port from 2013)

- Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (same as above)

- Pinball Arcade

 

If it was just the two Sonic games then I'd just say it was a weird quirk with just those two, but if it's also effecting Pinball Arcade, then this seems like an issue with the tablet itself. Is there a setting somewhere where I can fix this? I've already looked in the respective games' settings to no avail.

 

Note that most other apps that I've used on the device run fine. But if these three have problems, I suspect there may be more out there with the same issue.

 

Any advice?

 

Edit: I also have the same three effected games installed on an Asus MemoPad, where they run at the correct speed, but the MemoPad is three years old and starting to show its age. I'd rather play them on the Iconia, given it seems to run faster overall, but in this case it's obviously running too fast.
