Yea on both it crashes. I have updated everything, set every battery option properly, scan for any windows errors... Sometimes it crashes after few days, sometimes few times per day. Can it be because of Windows 10? Its original Windows 10 Home edition.

    Thats the critical error massage

I'm not 100% sure but Event ID41 should say, that windows was not shutdown properly or so.

Have you got the possiblility to do a full backup? I would do and after it, get all current drivers and save them to a different from OS drive. Then you could reset windows to it's defaults (you loose all your custom data). Then update all drivers and do testing.

I personally would get the windowsmediacreationtool and do a propper install media on an usb stick and do an install from the scratch.

The problem is i don't want to lose the data. I don't have any external disk to copy data and its like 600GB of things i have on my computer that i need. I could download them again but with my internet speed it would take months Smiley Sad I was wondering about moving every important thing on another disk and than install system (8.1) on the first one.

i would do what Beststevie suggested but do not install windows 8.1 on your system, is not officially supported.

if even after a windows 10 re-install it gives you the same issues, i would contact Acer support service, so a full backup of your personal data is needed for either options.

I have the same issue on predator g5, I've reinstalled windows and updated all the drivers after manually. And I notice that some of my games load slower than on my 6 years old dekstop.

Did you did an acer factory reset (ALT+F10) clean install with the acer pre installed windows that is in the recovery partition or you just formatted it yourself and installed your own copy via usb

Formated the ssd, and installed from usb, but the windows was downloaded from the official site. Since then acer changed my laptop to a brand new one, only the ssd remained the same. We activated win 10 again, and then they installed the drivers from the acer website.

And my games load so slow, in Destiny2 and Overwatch a have to wait about 3-5 minutes to start playing. I have the menu, but the background loads very slow and the sound is late as well. On my desktop these games load in less than 30 sec..and its 6 years old, all components older than in my g5

So by formatting the ssd you deleted the acer recovery partition that contains the windows customized/optimized version for your model (all models have different OS customization/optimization) meaning you will never be able to do a factory reset again only acer can reinstall the recovery OS again, the windows versions from MS website aren't either optimized neither customized for you model this is why you are having these issues now, my advice to everyone is never format the factory OS ssd/hdd without cloning it first or you will loose the factory OS this said your only option now is to optimize the windows version you installed as best as you can because i have my doubts that even if you would contact acer they would help you to restore your factory recovery partition as it was formatted on purpose and make sure you are running the games on the dedicated gpu and not the intel
