I have a Acer Aspire 5742 PEW71 and, following the sudden demise of my hard drive, I sent it out for information recovery about six months ago. However, the people there have somehow mixed it up with six other hard drives and now want me to try to identify it, despite living on a different continent. I have no idea what its size or brand or anything would be. However, I am hoping that, since it was the original sent from the factory, there is some sort of standardized kind that they use. However, it is beyond warranty and Acer won't so much as answer my phone calls. Does anyone here know what it is, or at least how I could find out without having to shell out even more money? Its size and brand, or anything like that, would be very helpful. Thank you!
