Sorry, only the 521 & 522 models seem to have the advanced option available, not the 520. Jack E/NJ

Doesn't seem to be without a significant risk of bricking IMO. Jack E/NJ

I will take the risk. Can you tell me how you do that?

    Hi guys.

I'm going to send you both a private message about a couple different, easy methods to access advanced BIOS settings on certain Acer laptops.  I don't know if it will work for your model.  Use at your own risk.......because if you mess something up, you might have to take the laptop apart and reset the CMOS (speaking from experience---sigh).

    I'm not an Acer employee.

Due to the similarities between the 520 and the aforementioned other models, there's a very slim chance one of their downloadable updates might work. But I would NOT try it if it were my 520. Jack E/NJ
