The hard drive in the Predator laptop seems to be installed upside down. Is this something I should be concerned about with data loss? I have had hard drive problems in the past with this from external drives.

What do you mean upside down? Can you post a pic. Also what model do you have?

I don't own it yet, but I have been looking at YouTube videos and they all appear the same. I am looking at the G9-793 models. The hard drive is right side up when the laptop is flipped upside down, ergo it is upside down when the laptop is right side up.

no issues at all being upside down, an HDD will only suffer shocks or heavy movements if running.

    I'm not an Acer employee.
