WiFi Lockup W700

New owner of a W700 here.  I've read the other thread about Wifi connectivity dropping, but my issue is different.  I'm running the .218 driver which I just installed last night.

My wifi connectivity is very good once I'm connected, but after I put the W700 to sleep or I lock it, when I come back after a few hours the wifi shows connected, but it's not.  If I try to launch IE of Firefox, or even if I just try to run an IPCONFIG from the command prompt, nothing happens.  The OS is still respnding, but the network interface is not.

If I try a restart, the Restart hangs as well and I have to forcibly power off the tablet.  When I reboot, my wifi reconnects and everything is great.

I tried the suggesting about changing the power settings and I don't allow Windows to put the network card to sleep, but that doesn't change anything.

Anyone have a similar problem or suggestion on how to fix this?  I had installed the .222 driver from the other site (by uninstalling the driver first, etc.) but the behavior is the same.

I originally installed the .218 driver through Acer Update.  No change.  For now, I just shut down the tablet when I'm done working with it.
