Intel KabyLake CPU's HyperThreading Bug

There was discovered a new Intel HyperThreading bug, affecting both Skylake and KabyLake CPU's.

I am owner of VX 15 laptop with i7-7700HQ (KabyLake) CPU, so this is relevant to me, as already i have encountered this bug.

And as i am using my laptop for compiling applications and other business stuff, i need a fix ASAP.

 

Apparently, Intel says that the fix can be done with updating the BIOS, so ACER as a vendor should make this update available.

ACER: Please consider patching this BUG ASAP, or else i will be forced to claim my money back, as such system is broken and unusable to my business.
