Acer Aspire R5-571T Can't connect to wifi

I just purchased a new Aspire R5-571T laptop.  It worked great for one day, and then suddenly it can't connect to the wifi anymore.  I have tried searching for solutions, and have already tried uninstalling/reinstalling the network adapter driver and I also tried factory reset the computer.  Nothing has worked.  When I try to connect, it asks for the password, then says "checking network requirements ", then "can't connect to this network".  Other laptops/smartphone can connect fine, so the issue is only with this laptop.  

 

If anyone has any ideas for something else I should try, please let me know.  Otherwise, I guess I will be returning the laptop.
