Hello, I was using my laptop just fine nothing wrong and I turned it off, when i tried to turn it on it gave me no bootable disk so I opened my pc and took out the hard disk and put it back on, so I turned it back on it gave me preparing automatic repair after a minute or two it goes into a blank page, I tried alt+F10 it shows me please wait and goes to a blank space, I tried in BIOS to change the UEFI to Legacy and power on it gives me no bootable device press any key, is there anyway to bring my pc to life or at least to take my stuff out of the hard drive? I'm willing to do anything to bring my pc back to life.

about retrieving your pesonal files, take off the HDD and plug it to an external USB HDD dock, then connect it to another PC, so you can copy all your files...if it's not an HDD issue.

reading your post, i suspect your HDD is having some issues, after you copied all your files, i would run a scandisk and check if there's any error on it.

if it's another laptop with windows 8 or 10, you did it right but probably is your HDD going south.

you can try to retrieve some files using a recovery data software, i can suggest Recuva:

the Free version is good enough.
