Ok I am going to give you a few things to do, in the order I give them.

First press your windows key + pause break button (pause break is near top of keyboard), look to the left hand side of the window that opens and click 'Advanced system settings'. Click the 'Hardware' tab at the top and then click "Device Installation Settings" button, on the screen that pops up tick 'No' and then save changes. This will prevent Windows from automatically updating your drivers for devices which could cause problems.

For updating bios watch this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uzaXfoy40pY

For updating your drivers, Go to here: http://www.nvidia.com/download/driverResults.aspx/119918/en-us

Download and run to update your video drivers. Restart your laptop, then open the start menu, go to settings and update/security and you can manually update there (Windows should update itself automatically but I'd force it to check once).

connect the AC charger and then push the power button, let windows do the startup and fill the asked informations.

    I'm not an Acer employee.
