I had my laptop diagnosed on an Acer Service Center and just like my guess, the motherboard is dead. My laptop which cost me 47,000 PhP was just a year and a half old in my hands. It still bothers me how a supposedly gaming laptop, would die so easily like that. Whenever I'm gaming I make sure to supplement the inefficiency of its cooling system with a laptop cooling fan and it would just sit on my table for long periods. I'm a very careful user. It's so sad that such a high-end and costly unit be so short-lived. I have an old model Aspire 4730z and it's lived for a long time. Now my question is do you know the possible price of the motherboard if I'll have it replaced? I expect it to be expensive but any higher than 10,000 Php and I'll consider buying a new one from Asus. I hear their ROG models are good. Also, can I sell parts of the laptop, such as its i7 CPU, 8GB RAM, 1 TB HDD, so I can buy a new one?
