how can i change the text size on the icona w700

how can i change the screen resolution on the icona w700 I want to keep the highest resolution but make the text readable. At the moment the text is very small. Using the magnifier is fustrating as it keeps popping up at odd times. When using Google Chrome the text in the URL and the page is small. The browser allows me to change magnification to 125 or 150 but I need better resolution. Opera browser has good text size if I use the slider to adjust the size.
