Do you see reference clock? This is what needs to be increased in order to make your CPU faster together with other things if needed. But from your screenshot I see it is on max, so it can't be changed. Even if you increase voltages and other things, you won't be able to increase the clock speed, because the CPU is locked.

Edit: Also 'multipliers' is locked, so I don't think you can really do any overclocking.

Always post the following characterisitcs of the device:
    -Model number
    -Part number(not required, but helpful)
    -CPU
    -GPU
    -Operating system

Helios 300 and Nitro 5 users DO NOT update the BIOS to version 1.22 if you don't want the keyboard's backlight to turn off after 30 seconds even when the device is plugged in.

The CPU on these laptops have a locked multiplier from intel...you won't be overclocking that CPU.  The only reason to use the XTU from Intel is to lower core voltage to lower temps...you won't be able to OC with it...by the way I never heard of anyone who wanted to raise the temps of their CPU ....huh??? are you serious?

Also "turbo mode" on a CPU and "overclocking" a cpu are not the same thing.

Predator sense seems not working when pressing "faster" or "turbo" mode. It always stays at 3100mhz, nothing changes..

    Why is that?

I just checked this out and it appears to overclock the GPU only

same problem here with near exact same numbers shown in your image.

i have a predator g9-593 and the only thing there support could do for me after reinstalling the application was to do a system reset while still keeping my files...

i havent tried this however i also want to avoid this due to the amount of settings i have tweaked since default settings were last applied... far too many!!

    any updates.. please help!!!

There is no such thing as overclock on CPUs, unless they are the K variant and the motherboard supports it. Same for the desktop; the issue with many laptops is that they are as big as a desktop machine but do not allow you to change CPU. My next gaming laptop won't be any brand that does not use desktop grade CPU or that does not use sockets for their CPU, because this Predator has been a big disappointment from day 1.

GPU performances change with the different modes in Predatorsense; it is just that it is really negligible because it is a "safe" boost. Tried with 3dmark and between modes the difference was at most 1-2 FPS more, and about a hundred of points (so the highest setting gave me about 250 points more in the final score).

Is there a software that allow you to play with the GPU settings to make it go faster? Can't change the CPU speed but you should be able to mod the GPU
