Hi!
I have a K272HUL with a slight problem - there is a zone with vertical blue lines on right side of monitor. Tested on 2 computers, one HDMI, one DP, in both cases result is the same. As it is a slight inconvenience and I fear it could develop further, I open the case and send the monitor in for warranty repairs (have to pay 35$ shipping).
After couple of weeks I receive it back with the problem still there and letter stating how thoroughly they've tested it and couldn't find nothing. And also now my DP input doesn't work and I needed it, one of my computers has DP output only..
Now I see 3 options: 1) send it again for repairs. that means another 35$ for me and from previous experience not a big hope for a good working monitor as a result. 2) use it as is, which gives me big trouble as I need that now defective DP input. 3) buy another monitor with square trade so I can have a fully working monitor (angry with Acer will not buy it again unless I can fix this with no further costs to me).
