I have an older Acer laptop (perhaps ancient would be a better word). I use Linux exclusively. Are the new laptops fully compatible with Linux? Many laptops are not because, for one, they use Broadcom chips for WiFi and those can be a pain. My current laptop (ok, a 5535-5050) runs fine with Linux now. With my experience with Acer, assuming it is typical, I would certainly be interested in replacing it with another Acer but it MUST run Linux without a problem. Of course if I could buy one that had never even heard the word Windows I would be even more interested.

Thanks
