I bought a new G9-593 today.  I logged in long enough to let it register my windows, then i shut it down, flipped it over, and removed the two 128G SSDS and put in a 512G SSD.

I then did a windows creative update install off a USB made with media creation tool from an existing desktop that had windows creative install already complete.

I then installed the latest NVidia drivers (381.89).

Then i updated the Bios to 1.09

I then followed the instructions here about how to dis-gang the two 128's and reinstalled one of them blank.

So far everything seems good.

What do i need to install from the Product Support webpage (https://www.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/support-product/6964?b=1 ) for this laptop?  Need vs Nice vs disregard if possible please.  I have no Driver errors in Device manager, so I am not sure whats needed from this list:  (I assume i do not need the VGA driver).  Also, i do not see any predator specific utilities there?  The only Application is:

windows 10 install all the needed drivers, you need to download them from Acer support service only if you encounter errors on device manager.

quick access is ok to download

about Predator sense, try this version

    https://global-download.acer.com/GDFiles/Application/Predator%20Sense/Predator%20Sense_Acer_1.00.3012_W10x64_A.zip?acerid=636173910958642268&Step1=NOTEBOOK&Step2=PREDATOR&Step3=PREDATOR%20G9-793&OS=ALL&LC=en&BC=ACER&SC=PA_6

    Thanks for the reply.

What does Quick Access do for me, and what does Predator sense do for me?

The Predator Sense allows you to quickly and reliably overclock your graphics card, monitors temperatures and fan speeds, and allows you to program keyboard RGB colors and macro buttons.  I use Sense all the time but haven't really used the quick access yet, but it is a support app that providess quick access to maintenance and restore functions.

maintenance and restore functions are part of Acer care center, not quick access.

Quick access enables Fn key functions and other functions like

    Coolboost

    dustdefender

    bluelight shield

    USB charging ON/OFF

(supported functions may depends on laptop model)
