Connecting monitor to mainboard

Having trouble with my computer (Acer Aspire M3920) freezing after 1-15 minutes, messy picture on monitor when it's freezing. I guess it's either the mainboard, Gpu or Cpu causing the problem. It's certenly not the SSD or HDD or the Win7 or Win10, because they also cause my computer freezing.

To check if the graphic card causes the problem, I have disconnected the graphic card and tried to connect my monitor to the VGA connection on the mainboard, but when I do this the monitor gets totally black. No picture or signal at all. It's a i3-2100 Cpu, so I had guessed that it should work with the onboard Intel HD graphics device?

Anyone that could help me?
