ACER R1 (R271) dual monitor issue

Hi there,

Yesterday I bought my second ACER R1 (R271) monitor, with the idea to use it as second monitor on my PC. 
I connected the first monitor with HDMI to my graphics card (gigabyte GeForce GTX 1070 G1 Gaming), had no problem with that, it just worked fine.. but now, I bought the second monitor, and see that my graphics card only has 1 HDMI port and 3 DP ports, so.. I bought a DP-HDMI cable, connected the second monitor with the graphics card but the monitor still says, ''no signal''. 
Does anyone know what is going wrong here?
