Dear Experts

can i Upgrade my Acer E1-471 RAM to 16GB?

I found the compatible upgrade from here

http://www.crucial.com/usa/en/compatible-upgrade-for/Acer/aspire-e1-471

I looking for in Ark.intel my processor compatible with 16 GB RAM. But I don't know about the motherboard.

When i looking for in acer.com i just found that my acer just can get 8GB RAM maximum Upgrade

sorry for my bad english, i just want to ensure that i buy the right RAM for my laptop. If 16GB RAM is eligble, centainly i choose 16GB RAM

Regards

    Hello,

This series supports up to 8Gb - DDR3 - 1333/1600MHz (2x4Gb - OS 64-bit). No original memory module of 8Gb is listed for this one. Adata and Kingston only "sell" memory modules of 2Gb or 4Gb.

thank for the answer but last question . So i can use 2 pc 4GB RAM DDR3 1600MHZ? Because when i check with speccy, 2 slot of RAM have different spec. ! slot for 1333 MHZ and the other is 1600MHZ. When i search in google i found that if the RAM have different speed, It will run in the lower speed of the 2 RAM.

    Hello,

    1. So i can use 2 pc 4GB RAM DDR3 1600MHz?
      This depends on your processor:
      For example:
      -
I3-2350M: DDR3 1066/1333MHz so you can install modules running at 1333MHz.
      - I3-3110M: DDR3 1333/1600MHz so you can install modules running at 1600MHz.
    2. It will run in the lower speed of the 2 RAM.
Yes that's correct. Your current memory modules run at 1333MHz.
