Touchscreen stopped working SW3-013

I know this is an older model but I just bought it last week so it's new to me. Came factory restored in mint condition. Used for a few days and everything worked perfectly until the other day. Now the touchscreen does not work. Troubleshooting determines the I2C HID device "cannot start. Code 10. A request for the HID descriptor failed." I have tried everything updating driver, uninstalling driver, downloading drivers I think will work. I even fully restored the computer thinking it will go back to working but nothing. The latest acer update is:

Could this have an error in it? The date is about the time it stopped working. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

    @Foxy57  Completely shut the machine off. Then turn it back on and immediately press & hold the ALT key while tapping the F10 key to access the hidden ACER recovery partition on the disk drive. Then follow this video to re-set your machine to a factory-fresh state. Jack E/NJ
