ACER TravelMate B117-M Shutsdown When Unplugged

I have a TravelMate B117-M laptop PC 64bit running Windows 10.

The other day the keyboard suddenly stopped working. I checked online what to do and

implemented the power reset procedure to fix the keyboard.

But now the PC only runs when the AC is plugged in. If I remove the AC, the PC shutsdown immediately.

When I re-plug the AC and boot up the PC, there is no screen telling me Windows did not shutdown properly

or anything like that.

Also, the battery's charge is stuck at 60%. When the PC boots up, the icon in the task bar shows an animation

like the battery is charging, but only for a few seconds and stops.

The laptop has now become a desktop. If anyone has any advice how I can fix the situation, it would be

greatly appreciated.
