Looking to create a communications port out of the micro USB allowing data transfer. On a regular laptop Comm ports are found and labeled under my computer and manage devices, there are none with the tablet (iconia W4 -820). I'm exploring the idea of being able to plug my tablet to a radio and pass/ receive data over it . Currently the radio uses a serial cable to plug in to the laptop, I have the adapters to make it convert to micro USB just looking on how to make the tablet recognize the micro USB port as a communications port for the app to pass data.
