This laptop doesn't support wake from sleep via usb keyboard, and the wake from sleep option (Allow this device to wake the computer) is greyed out in windows 10 device manager (Intel USB 3 eXtensible host controller). Unfortuately I've just upgraded from a 5742G with the same issue and was hoping ACER would have fixed this by now.  Are there any other options to wake the pc while the lid is closed?  Would a bluetooth keyboard wake the laptop while the lid is closed?

Would help to know reason or application so a solution could be suggested. Normally I personally shut off both sleep and hibernate options, ignore lid status all in power options advanced tab so laptop always active ready with lid closed. Over the years always had issues with my computers working properly after sleep or hibernate use. Let screen timer shut off display and any input- keyboard or USB mouse / touchpad wakes display, external or the LCD panel. Granted mine is normally plugged in to power.
