I find it easiest to update from Windows. Extract the archive and read the docs... IIRC you open the WIN folder and execute a batch file.
Should I update the p01-a2 or the newer version i found online? Theres p01-b3 versions already out
Would please share the download position for P01.B3 version ? Thanks.

Don't know your PC's model number.

At the right pane of this page, click the Driver & Manuals under the Assistance by Acer, find your PC there, look at the BIOS section and get the latest BIOS (just don't get that has letter "L" at the end).

You should contact acer support directly and verify if you can update to p21-a4so --- which is for M4620G in the meltdown/spectre page. As this is a security patch that can only be done via bios, you can escalate your call until you can find a live person who can verify it.

I am 90% certain that you can apply the update as M4620 and M4620G share the same bios.

I'm in the 10% bad luck, my PC model is M4620G, the update process stuck at the verifying the flash stage (~20%), finally the BIOS is corrupted and my PC can't be started again.
Is there a way to recover it ? Please help me.
    Help! Help! Help!

My PC model is Veriton M4620G.
There is no P01.A2 or P01.B3 BIOS firmware on the ACER support center web site.

If you are technical enough, you may get a programed EPROM for your specific model from places like Amazon or you may need to bring the PC to a repair shop with good reputation to replace BIOS. It is a rather serious issue.

You can't mix P11 and P21 BIOSes on the Veriton M4620G models. That's why there is the disclaimer "not for upgrades" on the P21 BIOS versions. The P11 was for the older motherboards that didn't support UEFI booting and the P21 is for the machines with the newer motherboards that do support UEFI.

I use the P01.A2 version, but stuck at the verifying flash stage (~20%).

Try removing the CMOS battery and unplug all connections including the AC then leave unplugged overnight.
