How to downgrade from Windows 8 to windows 7?

I just bought a Acer aspire V3 571G 6622, its great. Windows 8 is NOT!

Ive been trying to downgrade for the past 2 days to window 7 ultimate.

I have followed all steps i can find for disabling secure boot etc. Says, cannot install as partition is GPT type. when I switch to legacy mode and boot from win 7 disk. Do I need to use an earlier bios that has a feature to enable CSM?

Please help. I can can stand windows 8 and this is very frustrating trying to install windows 7. I try to UIFE boot after pressing f12 and windows 7 install just stops at the windows screen. Any help would be great. I rang acer but they wanted to charge me 100 buck to help me. Yeah Right! Please help

    Hello,

Sorry you do not like W8 and the W8 unit you purchased.  Manufacturers only support the OS as installed on the unit that a customer buys.  If you wish to receive assistance or help in possibly installing Windows 7 you will most likely need to google that downgrade request or possibly Microsoft has some type of assistance for such request. I am sure many customers want to reverse to a more familiar OS if they feel uncomfortable with W8.

A charge for a non-supported hardware or software issues is not unusual and third party technical sites will charge for something that is not supported by manufacturing warranty terms.

Another option is to keep trying and learning to use the W8 after you master the new OS features you may like it.

    Good luck.
