For some reason my laptop cannot connect or even see my 5G Wi Fi anymore.  All of my other devices can see it and connect to it.  I used to be able to connect to 5G, but today it's not even seeing the network.  I've confirmed the laptop is capable of 5G (which I know as I've connected via 5G previously).  Can't find any updated drivers, It's current with Win 10 updates.  Any ideas?  Thanks in advance for any help.

Running Win 10

Supports:  802.11b 802.11g 802.11n

NIC:  Qualcomm Atheros AR8151

    Hi,

Go to Device manager, expand Network adapters, highlight your adapter, rightclick and select Properties, go to Advanced tab, click Wireless mode and look for 11a listed, if it's not listed, you don't have dual mode available.

Thanks.  I'll give it try and let you know if it works.  Also, noticed that my laptop now doesn't recognize Bluetooth anymore.

I don't have 'Wireless' as an option.  I'm running Win 10.

    Hi,

You are looking in Ethernet controller, you have to right click your WiFi adapter, go to Properties, then go to Advanced tab.

I want to say that I looked at every device under "Network Adapters" and didn't see a Wireless option for any of them.  I have a Qualcomm Atheros AR8151 adapter and I'm almost certain that Wireless was not an option.  I'll confirm when I can and get back to you.  Until then, if Wireless is not an option do you have a suggestion on a fix?  I’ve searched and searched for drivers, but I cannot find any.  Windows keeps telling me I have the latest driver and I cannot find a driver to download from Acer.

Here you go.  No "Wireless" option.  Any suggestions?

Thought I'd attach this as well in case I'm missing something.

    Hi,

I am sorry, your card is a single band card, it will work only at 2.4GHzSmiley Sad

That can't be as I've used the 5GHz connection since I bought the laptop a few years ago. Only recently has the 5GHZ connection been unavailable. I'm assuming after a Win 10 upgrade. I'll post a config printout when I have a chance that shows its 5GHZ compatible.

Doesn't the 802.11b and 802.11n mean I have 5Ghz?  See below.  Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
