I need to create system recovery disks but unsure how to do it.
Can someone please give me the instructions?
ETA: Found it but I want to create a disk. It's asking for a usb
No disks on windows 10, just USB since they are more reliable and faster to read/write.
Thank you. Just need to get a thumb drive big enough.
Why did they change to usb when discs are much easier to store?
Ok. Thanks mate
Not yet Ingrid1990. I just need to get a usb thumb drive. Probablywon't be till Monday
Well, what's your plan?
My plan is to buy the usb drive and create a recovery drive
But you should know that the ISO file downloading from Microsoft official website doesn't contain your current OS personal settings. If you want to keep these personal settings and backup current Windows 10 system to USB drive, you may get "the drive is not a valid backup location" warning. The solution is create recovery drive with professional software or keep regular backups of Windows 10 on safe place and create a bootable media by backup & restore software. Restore the latest backup point of Windows 10 if the need ever arises.
