I am trying to connect my ACER S201HL monitor to a laptop running windows 10 with an HDMI input, using a VGA to HDMI adapter.  When I try to connect I get "input not supported" message on monitor.  Tried 2 different adapters and neither worked.  Can't find any drivers for this monitor on the ACER site.  Any suggestions?

HDMI to VGA isn't an easy connection and it's adapter dependant.

is the adapter/monitor recognised in windows 10?

right click on Desktop and choose Display settings

FIxed!  I checked the display settings by clicking on "intel graphics" to enter their control panel.  the monitor was recognized even though it did not recognize input from the pc.  I tried changing values.  When I changed to "maintain aspect ratio" under "scaling", the display appeared on the Acer monitor.  Thanks!!
