Hi everyone,

I have recently gotten a G6-710 and I wasn't able to install a hard drive in the quick-swap bay bay because the slots for the rubber grommets are both pointing towards the middle (see pic).

Is this normal? If yes can someone tell me how to properly install a drive. It doesent mention it anywhere in the manual.

    i don't understand your problem...

you need to gently open a little the 2 side of the quick tray and put inside the HDD, nothing else.

I am not able to install a drive without using lots of force in the bay. I was wondering if my bay might have a defect or if I'm trying it the wrong way. It doesn't mention it anywhere in the manual.

I might not have done it correctly, but I have a drive installed now and working.
    Thanks!
