Since Nov 19th, what still keeps happening is that the notebook keeping trying to install an update that keeps failing (cumulative update for Windows 10 Version 1607 (KB3200970). The update keeps failing and says “we couldn’t complete the updates. Undoing changes. Don’t turn off your computer”. This process takes many hours before I can log back into my notebook and keeps happening every time I try to use my notebook. Now update KB3206632 keeps failing as well. Reset PC failed, tried the media creation tool...failed, tried manual download of both KB3200970 and KB3206632 and that failed, tried manual download with an ISO file (32 bit) and that failed. Spent hours on chat with Microsoft and they can't figure out. They got me to create a jump drive USB with a clean version of W10 32 bit, so I've got that, but can't figure how to get it to start windows from USB. BIOS version is 5.0 Utility. Hit F2 to get into Bios, added password and disabled secure boot. USB HDD in position 1 but won't boot from USB still. When you hit F12 at startup it still shows window boot and not sure what other options to change to get it to boot from USB. My notebook originally came with W 8.1. Upgraded to W 10 in the summer and works great tilll the failed updates this fall. Please let me know if you have any suggestions to fix, or how to boot from USB to a fresh version of W 10. Tried so many things already and super frustrating. Thanks!
