Hello,

I have a Aspire E 15, E5-553-T01Q.

I am happy with its performance but feel the local hard disk (SSD) is less for my requirements.

I want to know if its possible to add more SSD ? OR Replace Existing one with a higher capacity ? AND how much maximum capacity upgrade is supported.

Thank you in advance.

BR,

Amol.

It is totally possible to replace the ssd you have in the laptop now with a larger capacity one. You will have to clone the data on the drive in the system in order to do so, but there are tools that guide you through this process and make it fairly simple. In terms of maximum capacity, there really isn't one when it comes to SSD's, you can really upgrade to whatever capacity you want or can afford (higher capacity drives can get quite expensive). All you need to look for is a 2.5 inch form factor SATA SSD and you should be all set.
