Hi there,
I have a Predator G3-710 and I have an hard drive from my old computer this is replaceing. I found a spot for it and there is one open SATA port too. So I hooked it all up but the computer won't find the drive in Windows. The Intel Rapid Storage Technology program knows it is there, but it reports it as incompatable due to being part of a raid on the last computer. All the help documents say that I should just delete the volume (since I already have the data saved) and recreate a new volume. However, there are no actual options in the IRST program to do that. Does Acer lock the configuration for the HDDs? I can't modify anything on the preinstalled HDDs either.
I figured that this topic was a good one to extend with this question.
Thanks,
Duncan
Nevermind, I moved this to my own new topic.
