Hi, my Acer Aspire One 722 has originally Windows 7. Summer time I have upgraded it to Windows 10. After that, when there was an important update at Microsoft Windows Update, my AO722 tried to install that and after finishing 99-100% there was communicate: Failure configuring Windows updates - Reverting changes etc.

Maybe someone knows how solve this problem?

    >>>Reverting changes >>>

So does this mean the machine didn't finish the update but still cold boots to Win10 OK? Jack E/NJ

Netbook after finishing revert (2 reboots needed) returns to Win10 and boots normally but when looking for new updates still finds older update (that reverted) and trying install that (without success) and that is loop without end.

Windows Update has many problems with my netbook.

    The last one is KB3206632

but in the November that was KB3200970 (for now invisible at WU).

Go to control panel. Search 'update'. Click Windows update. Then update history. Please tell me the numbers of UNsuccessful updates. Jack E/NJ

My WU history is short because I have installed Windows 10 from DVD in November (earlier version has the same problem).

Unsuccessful updates were only the two I was mentioned before.

OK, good. First try this. Google the terms "kb3200970" "download".

Then download and try to manually install this update from the Microsoft update catalog. If this works, do the same for KB3206632.

Beware though, the link to the update catalog may be busy. Many others seem to be having the same Windows 10 update issues. Just keep re-trying the link till you get in.

I have tried manually install for KB3200970 and some earlier - without success.

So I think with the KB3206632 is similar problem.

I have tried WU fix from MS to.

Did you use 64 bit version? Do you recall the date when you last tried to install it?  Jack E/NJ

Drive C: has 55.5GB free from 172GB. Rest hard drive space is for Linux.

Seems like enough space. So did you have any antivirus programs running in the background at the same time you manually tried to install KB3200970? If so, we're the antivirus programs Win10 compatiblity certified? Jack E/NJ

The only one is Windows Defender but it is built in and came with Windows 10.
