Acer 10 Switch - when I try to charge it, the charging light flickers orange

Hello, All.

i want to find out about my Acer 10 Switch which I purchased a year ago this October (so now out of warranty). I am a 68 year old student in my 2nd year at university.  I have some physical disabilities and my regular laptop is too heave to take to lectures.

i went into my local Staples store and purchased the Acer Switch 10 as I thought it was an ideal size/weight for my needs.

this has been nothing but problems from the start. I am a pensioner and it took me a while to get the money together to buy it.

by the time I found the receipt to take it back to Staples, the receipt was over a year old.  First issue was how long it took to charge. Then the code for Microsoft Office which was included in the pack wouldn't work. Took it into Staples, showed them and they told me to contact Microsoft. Several times and no response.

charging issue started shortly afterwards.  Took forever to charge.  Following this, charging has always been a problem. Now when I try to charge it, the charging light flickers orange. Obviously no charge, won't switch on. So now, I am left with this item, which I can't use, which I paid £180 for, so thank you Acer.  I have tried all the You Tubes efforts at getting it to work, and no luck.

apart from returning it to Acer, I would appreciate someone advising me. Thank you.

A blinking blue or orange light is an indication that there is a problem with the battery. Please contact your Acer support for assistance with this issue, from the info posted here:
