XB270HU red & cyan lines/dots

Hello, I've got this problem with my monitor (bought 2015-11-18).

 

The problem is that sometimes after a while of being used the monitor suddenly gets red & cyan lines/dots on the screen

The problem first appeared 2016-05-22, when I made a service case at the store I bought the display at, they refered me to you instead. However the problem went away after the monitor being shut of for the night/few hours, so I ignored it for the time being. But now recently I feel this problem appears more often than before so would like som support with this.

 

If there is any more information you want/need I'll happily support it.

can be a sort of overheat issue, since you stated that leaving off for a few hours solved the problem.

 

i would contact Acer support service to have it serviced.

Yes, overheating have definitley crossed my mind, little bit weird as it would happen more now during the winter than in the summer though
