do you need to move all the default SSD content to the new 950?

can you explain better your needs?

Hello, i need to make my samsung pro as primary hdd drive, for system instalation and software.. now my primary hdd is the one that came with the laptop, a small drive 256g..lite on

So the question was how do i make the samsung primary for windows instalation.. as i've seen, i have to put the bios in legacy so that the system can see the samsung drive.. but did't see's the other drive, the liteon drive..

    don't put it to legacy.

    you have 2 options:

    1. clone the lite-on content to your new SSD and then wipe the Lite-on (you can't have 2 copies of the same OS, it will create issues on booting, since windows boot manager must be the first bootable device and can't be shared)
    2. do a windows 10 clean install, after creating the recovery flash drive from your lite-on and then wiping the lite-on before installing windows 10 to the new SSD
