    OK. With the bios D2D disabled, let's now try to boot again from the recovery stick if you haven't already.

     

    If that still doesn't work, let's then change the bios boot order to FDD USB as first. And try it again still with D2D disabled.

     

    If still no joy, then CD/DVD USB as first in the boot order. D2D still disabled.

    First, go back into the bios menu and look for an item to reset or restore bios defaults. Then F10, save and exit. If still no connection then please answer these questions---

     

    (1) Did your recovery stick ever work before to resolve this or any other issue?

    (2) Do you still see a network connection mgr icon?

    (3) Does the system have access if wired directly to the router?

    Hi all sorted you got me thinking about the memory stick, so made another with a new stick, turned verything back on and restore worked.
