Acer Converter Cable (Mini CP to VGA, LAN, USB) not working on Aspire R7 since downloading Win 10

I've tried everything, so perhaps someone can help.

After coverting my Aspire R7 to Windows 10, the Acer Converter Cable has stopped working.  I've checked the connection is good, etc. but have not been able to get it working.  I've looked for a driver fix, but I have not been able to find one.  The Acer site does not have any driver patches or suggestions, and I'm up to date on my Windows 10 updates.

Thanks very much.

Sorry this happening. Can you provide the first 10 characters of the serial number so we can check on this issue?

Sorry for the late reply. There is no specific driver for this adapter. You can try installing the chipset driver for Windows 8.x from our download site. There is also an ME Management Engine driver and Other Drivers USB to LAN that you can try as well. I’d start with the chipset driver and see if this helps.

Another thing to try is unplug the adapter, open Device Manager and plug it back in, it should show up as a device  (it may be an unknown device); right click on the device and go to Properties. Go to the Details tab and under Properties click the down arrow and select Hardware IDs. Any of the values that come up, you can Google the value and see what comes up as far as driver information.
