S277HK Flickering / lines on screen

For the last couple of months I've experienced really bad flickering lines on the screen, along with dimmed lighting. The screen is barely useable and I'm worried it might be damaging to my eyes in this state.

 

This issue is intermittant. Sometimes it goes away for a couple of hours then returns. It was recently fine for a whole two weeks, then the issue returned.

 

I've ruled out a graphics card/external hardware/cable issue, because when it's flickering, it happens whatever source the screen is connected to (tried several) and whichever connection I use - HDMI, DP or DVI. It looks like it might be some sort of interference, but what?

 

The issue started after I replaced the original power supply n order to fix the power regulation issue (see the other thread).

 

This is a terrible product, one issue after another.

    Sorry you are having problems with your Acer monitor. When you replaced the AC adapter did you get it from Acer or did you get this from a third party source? If you got the adapter from a third party it might not be up to spec since this did start after replacing the adapter. If you got the adapter from Acer, we would recommend the monitor be checked by our service location.
